Sustainable livelihoods is a wider concept than having a job, but, particularly in industrialized societies, a sustainable life and human well-being are not possible without decent work. The Center of Concern’s Global Women’s Project recently released a briefing on decent work recommending policy changes that can reset the course for revitalized sustainable livelihoods in the U.S. not only for the middle class but also for those in lower quality jobs.
